30 SECONDS' Customers speak out

Holly is our Customer Service Guru and manages all our on-line orders. She often follows up with our on-line customers and asks for any feedback. Below are many, and varied opinions on one of our products, 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner.

I won your product by calling in to KIRO FM during their "Gardening with Ciscoe" show.  I have seen this in the store and have wondered about it.  I'm so very excited to try out this cleaner and to acquire it  in such a fun way--what could be better?

Thanks, D.

Hi Holly!!  Thanks for checking in.  I thought I would write you this evening and let you know I used the 30 Second Cleaner on our Fiberon Deck this afternoon and it did a wonderful job.  It didn't have any mold or mildew but there were a couple noticeable spots where our German Shepherd loves to lay plus it hadn't been cleaned since late last Summer.  Well it looks awesome!!  Looks brand new!!  We are so happy with the results.  We had used Corte Clean a couple times during the Summer months every year since our home was built almost 5 years ago.  It did a pretty good job but I had to scrub and scrub on those places Stormy lays and I could still see it.  But after using your product this afternoon they are completely gone!!!  Half of our deck is under cover and the other half is exposed to all the elements. This gave it a much more even look.  I followed the directions 1/2 Cleaner and 1/2 water (actually I went heavier on the water).  I put it in a large pail and used a long handled scrub brush.  I broke it down and did 3 different sections mixing new each time.  I think next time I will purchase a sprayer.  (I didn't want to use my husbands sprayer that he puts other chemicals in)   That will make it easier on my back!!  LOL   And now that I know this 30 Second cleaner works it will be a breeze.  I rinsed it over and over again very well with the hose.  I have enough left to do it again at the end of the Summer.  Thanks for a great product and I will be ordering more next Spring!!   Have  a great day!!

Sincerely, S.P.

Paul Benevento called from Long Island, he bought our 30 SECONDS® Outdoor Cleaner from the local ACE Hardware. He said “ I am a very fussy man when it comes to my house and your product is WOW, just amazing. My siding and deck have not looked this good since it was built.” He is a Fireman in Long Island and is going to spread the word about how wonderful our product is.

Hi Holly, It worked great on my painted concrete patio. P.T.

Hi Holly: Thank you for your email.  It is very reassuring to know that the manufacturer of a product stands behind it and offers support the way you have done.  I am very happy.  But I have not tried the outdoor cleaner yet.  I have brick garden walkway and wood siding behind bushes that showed green mouth.  I want to try 30 SECONDS® Outdoor Cleaner on them when I have the time. Thank you. D.

L.S. called to say that it doesn’t happen very often that he buys a product and is happy with the results.  30 SECONDS® is one of them.  It cleaned his vinyl siding just as promised.

M.S. in Bradenton, FL Nice to find a product that does what it claims to do! Just purchased a RV that was all mildewey (sp) and stained. Sprayed this on and 95% washed off and the dirtiest places came of easily with broom brush. Will definitely be ordering more for other areas!

Hi Holly, Thanks for the email.  I love the 30 seconds cleaner for my 3 year old composite decking.   Honestly it looked disgusting before I used your product and now i can't stop looking at it!!!   i was wondering if you would recommend any of your products for unsealed outdoor granite stairs? thanks,  J.D.

Hi Holly, outstanding product . Exceeded my expectations. I used it on some vinyl rail that had grimmey. Also on some vinyl siding thta faces norht and had allot of built up moss. I figured I would spay it on and break out my power washer. Ha..not needed. in most casees a simple rinse with a hose did the job.

Feel free to use this email. I will be buying more in the future. M.G.

Just a side note: I think M.G. was so excited about 30 SECONDS, based on the number of typos. This is probably a side effect of the 'Woo Hoo!' effect we all know and love.

You have been more than kind

Bless you. N.A.

Our house was looking terrible with the ugly green stain on the front on the house. I saw the 30seconds in the store and because I had view the video and the product was on sale, I purchased the small bottle to take home to test.
The test was so fantastic, I ran back to the store and purchased the biggest container and the sprayer..
Our house looks great and now we know we don’t have to have that ugly green stain anymore. Thanks
P.S. I an a couponer if your company does coupons. Debbie A

Your product works well with siding however not so well on wood or cement ,I don’t know how it would work on roof shingles to get the roof dirt off since haven’t tried it yet.

30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner will be great to clean up your pavers especially if they are dirty from the wet, winter weather.
People often ask about their pets when cleaning up outdoors. My best advice is to put your animals away while you are actually doing the cleaning. You don’t want them running through the cleaner. Once you have finished the job and have rinsed everything into the soil, 30 SECONDS biodegrades. Once the area dries then you have nothing to worry about.

Just as a side note…if your animals do in fact, go a little crazy and walk through the cleaner, all you need to do is rinse, rinse, rinse.

A friend suggested your product to clean up my back pavers. Is 30 seconds Outdoor safe for pets once rinsed away? I’m concerned about the bleach content. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback, John.
You have raised a very good point when cleaning different surfaces, with 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner. I thought I would share your input to help others understand what arises with different surfaces and different cleaning projects they might have.

Vinyl siding cleans very easily because the surface itself is smooth. Therefore, the stuff you are trying to clean off doesn’t have a strong foothold onto the siding. This is also true for things like plastic outdoor furniture and fencing, smooth painted areas, and trellis work.

As you move up the scale to rougher surfaces, like wood, then you just have to use a bit more cleaner, so it doesn’t just soak in. Keep the wood saturated longer (about 5 minutes) because the stuff you are trying to clean off has a stronger foothold and can grip into the nooks and crannies. This is why we often recommend sweeping with the grain, while the product is still on the surface. This really helps to get a nice clean finish.

The toughest surface to clean, especially for new customers is concrete. It is much more porous, so the cleaner really soaks into the concrete, quickly. This doesn’t help anybody because the stains from algae, mold or mildew are on the surface. You have to fight against that by saturating the area with much more cleaner than you would for vinyl siding. And keep the area wet longer with 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner (up to 15 minutes), because concrete also has a lot of nooks and crannies for things to grip on to. If the area is not clean, the way you want, then you simply apply more cleaner, before you rinse it all away with the hose. Once you master this technique, it is such a time saver. You won’t rip apart the surface with a pressure washer, and you get a very nice even clean…no more stripes!

I noticed your comment about roof shingles too. There are several types of materials and techniques for that, as well. That will be my next topic for my next blog. Stay tuned.
