Tips on Cleaning ALL of your Outdoor Furniture

Just as you would clean furniture inside the house, outdoor furniture needs a little love and attention, too. Check out these quick tips on how to clean your furniture with our Original 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner!

White Plastic Chairs:

These plastic chairs are notorious for quickly accumulating nasty, moldy, yucky grime that is almost impossible to clean.

Here's what you do: Spray 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner on a DRY surface, keep wet for up to 3 minutes and hose off.

WOW! It’s really that easy.

Colored Plastics, Metal, Cloth, Fiberglass:

The mildew, mold and dirt can creep throughout the mesh of these type of chairs that can disguise just how dirty they are.

Test a small, inconspicuous area first to make sure it’s a colorfast material. When you are ready to proceed, spray on a DRY surface and keep wet with the product for up to 3 minutes. You can also brush (if necessary) and rinse thoroughly with water.  You’re ready for the backyard BBQ.

 Wood :

Wood is slightly porous so it requires slightly more saturation than plastic. Again, you would want to spray on a DRY surface and keep it wet with 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner for up to 5 minutes. Brush or sweep the surface with the grain, to ensure the cleaner reaches all the nooks and crannies.  Then hose off thoroughly with water.

Tile and Concrete:

These surfaces are very porous so they require the most saturation. Spray on a DRY surface and keep wet with our product for up to 15 minutes.  You may brush or sweep the surface for even saturation. Hose off thoroughly with water and you're done!

Remember, if you clean your patio furniture on a regular basis, you can expect it to give you years of comfort while still looking great!

Can I use 30 second to clean real wicker outdoor furniture?

Jill Collier

March 24, 2015

Hi Alice,

You can definitely use our product on most wicker outdoor furniture. However, I still recommend to test it on a small, inconspicuous area first. Furniture can have different coating/finishes applied to the surface, so just to be safe – perform a small test. When you are ready to proceed, spray on a DRY surface and keep wet with the product for up to 3 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with water.

P.S. I would love to see before and after pictures and share them on the blog.

Can I use the cleaner on my trailer?

April 20, 2015

Ellen, why, yes! Of course you can clean your trailer with 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner! Be sure to follow the directions and rinse well when you’re done. One word of caution however, if you have decals, they may fade so test on a small area of the decal first.

Jim, yes 30 SECONDS absolutely works on concrete! Simply follow the directions on the bottle and you’re good to go. Since concrete is porous it requires good saturation — keep it wet with the cleaner for up to 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

Cathy, yes it does work on any outdoor wood surfaces. If you’re worried about color, you can test it in a small area first. We’ve had many customer use it with great success on teak, ipe and other exotic woods. In general, leave 30 SECONDS Cleaner on wood for about 5 minutes for best results. Then rinse thoroughly.
