Directions:
- Apply 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner when the surface is DRY.
- Keep surface wet with the product according to the label. The saturation time will vary depending on the amount of build up, and the porosity of the surface.
For example:
Concrete, Masonry, Tile, Asphalt - these are very porous so they require the most saturation:
- Spray on DRY surface.
- Keep wet with the product for up to 15 minutes.
- Hose off thoroughly with water.
Wood - this is slightly porous so it requires more saturation than vinyl siding:
- Spray on DRY surface.
- Keep wet with the product for up to 5 minutes.
- Brush or sweep the surface with the grain (if necessary).
- Hose off thoroughly with water.
Metal, Cloth, Paint, Plastic, Fiberglass:
- Test any cloth material on a small inconspicuous area first to make sure it is colorfast material.
- Spray on DRY surface.
- Keep wet with the product for up to 3 minutes.
- Brush (if necessary) and rinse thoroughly with water, within 10 minutes.
In General:
- It's optional to brush the surface if necessary, to loosen stubborn build up.
- Re-application, prior to rinsing, may be necessary where heavy build up occurs.
- Rinse thoroughly with water, using a garden hose. The cleaning action stops when your surface dries.
- Do not let 30 SECONDS dry on glass. Give windows an extra rinse after cleaning to prevent any residue being left behind.
- After use, clean applicator thoroughly with water.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
Helpful Hints:
- Always test on an inconspicuous area first, on surfaces that are susceptible to corrosion, dulling and bleaching. For example: fabric, color paving, high gloss paint and untreated metals.
- Wear protective clothing and footwear. 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner will bleach out your clothes.
- Rinse from plants and metals within 10 minutes of application.
- Once you are familiar with how well 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner works, it can be diluted up to 4 times more. Then you keep the surface wet, 4 times as long. Refer to the label directions for more information.
Spray & Walk Away
- Shake contents before use.
- Mix one part of 30 SECONDS Spray & Walk Away to five parts water (1:5 mix ratio). 1 gallon makes 6 gallons of Ready-To-Use product and treats 750-2250 sq. ft., depending on the growth and porosity of the surface. Use a backpack or pump up tank sprayer to apply.
- Spray surface to be treated when surface is DRY and rain is not predicted for 12 hours or longer.
- Thoroughly saturate surfaces to be treated. To maximize coverage, remove excessive organic growth or clumps where possible, prior to applying Spray & Walk Away. This will save you money and increase the effectiveness of the product.
- Once treated, the surface requires no pressure washing, scrubbing or rinsing. Just thoroughly WET the surface with the product and WALK AWAY.
- Treated surfaces will show signs of decay over the next few weeks and growth will erode away with the weather. Alternatively, leave treated surface for a few days after treatment, then brush off decaying growth with a stiff brush.
- After use, clean and flush applicator thoroughly with water.
- If you prefer immediate results, we recommend 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner. For example:
Ongoing Maintenance:
30 SECONDS Spray & Walk Away does not show immediate results, but works as a treatment, killing the growth slowly and effectively over time without damaging the surface. Some lichen and moss may take a week to remove or show signs of decay. If the surface to be treated is not fully exposed to rainfall or is vertical, then some additional wetting of the surface may be required. Reapplication may be required where heavy growth persists. Do not repeat treatment more than (6) times per year.
Advice For Specific Surfaces:
Wood Decks: Growth like lichen, moss and algae on cedar or redwood may require brushing for complete growth removal. Use water and a hard broom 1 month after application. Once cleaned, it may be maintained with Spray & Walk Away to prevent further growth or stains.
